A very special friend sent me the book Daily Rituals: How Artists Work. It included a sweet note from her and two questions from Benjamin Franklin. The first, "What good shall I do this day?" And the second, he asked at the end of his day, "What good have I done to-day?"
I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say that I have a tendency to over complicate things, and stress over the (should be) simple. Work, writing, and my life with one man, 3 chihuahuas, and 2 (okay, more than 2) bikes. Life is good, y'all and I'd do well to remember that. So this morning I ask myself, what good shall I do this day. And I ask the same to you.
